I am not able to connect.
To overcome connection issues, try some simple troubleshooting below:
- Switch between protocol options in the app (IPSec/IKEv2).
- Connect to DarkMatterVPN using the “Recommended Server” option.
- Select a new Country to resolve the issue.
- Try logging out from the DarkMatterVPN application & log in again to connect.
How can I change protocol?
In order to change the protocol, follow the steps below:
- Open the bottom left panel and click on the ‘Settings’ icon to select the ‘Protocol’ tab.
- Turn off ‘Automatic’ to change your protocol selection.
- Click on ‘Proceed’ and select the protocol of your choice from the drop-down menu.
I am getting slow speed after connecting to the VPN, how can I improve it?
A number of factors can affect the connection speed, please try the following steps one by one:
- Select the “Recommended Server” option in the DarkMatterVPN application to get the best speed.

How can I sort locations by alphabetic, and popularity?
Click on the globe icon from the left panel of the DarkMatterVPN App. To sort locations alphabetically or by popularity, click on the sorting icon from the top right and you will see the available options.
