Help

iOS app questions

How do I install DarkMatter on iPhone or iPad?

Download DarkMatter from the App Store, open the app, and sign in with your DarkMatter account. Then choose a country and connect.

Which iOS versions are supported?

DarkMatter supports current, actively maintained versions of iOS and iPadOS. The App Store listing shows the exact minimum version required for the latest app.

I subscribed on the website. Can I use the same account on iOS?

Yes. One DarkMatter account covers both the website and the apps. Sign in on iOS with the same email address and password you use for your account.

Why does iOS ask me to allow a VPN configuration?

The first time you connect, iOS asks permission to add a VPN configuration and may prompt for your passcode or Face ID. This is a standard, one-time iOS security step for any VPN app. Once approved, DarkMatter connects normally.

The VPN won’t connect on iOS. What should I try?

Confirm you have internet access, try a different server location, and update the app from the App Store. If you still can’t connect, remove and re-add the VPN configuration from iOS Settings, then reconnect. Still stuck? Email support@darkmattervpn.com.
