When you buy a DarkMatter VPN plan on our website, the law gives you the right to cancel your order within 14 days. This page explains how that works, what you pay and how you get your money back, and gives you a cancellation form you can use. Plans bought through an app store are cancelled and refunded through that store.

How long you have
You can cancel within 14 days without giving a reason. The 14 days count from the day after you place your order.
How to cancel
Tell us clearly, before the 14 days are up, that you want to cancel. You can:
- email us at support@darkmattervpn.com;
- write to us at our registered office; or
- fill in the cancellation form below and email or post it to us.
You don’t have to use the form: any clear statement that you want to cancel is enough. It’s enough to send it before the 14 days end. We’ll confirm by email that we’ve received it.
What you pay and what we refund
If you asked us at checkout to start your plan straight away, inside the 14 days (our checkout asks this for every new order), you pay only for the days you used before you told us, as a share of the whole term you paid for. For example, if you cancel 4 days into a 12-month plan, you pay for those 4 days and we refund the rest.
We refund you within 14 days of the day you tell us you’re cancelling. We use the same way you paid, unless you agree to something else, and you won’t pay any fee for the refund. Your plan stops working when we process your cancellation.
Our money-back guarantee is separate
This legal right is separate from our money-back guarantee, and doesn’t change it. The guarantee is explained in our Refund Policy.

Fill in and send this form only if you want to cancel your order. You can copy it into an email to support@darkmattervpn.com, or print it and post it to our registered office.
